Thursday December 24, 2020 4:00 PM - 4:30 PM

We will be hosting a virtual crib service on Thursday 24 December.

Visit to view the crib service any time from 4pm onwards.

For families with young children, you can use the following multi-sensory materials to help

engage them during the service:

• Large peg dolls, one smaller one (big enough not to choke on)

• Brown crinkle paper (or real hay)

• A small cardboard box for a manger (an earring box, for example)

• An angel figure – bonus if it’s got interesting textures or if it’s shiny

• A star decoration – again, bonus for texture or visual interest

• Farm animal figures

• Shakers to make noise during the music

Make sure you have paper, pens, and a candle ready to use. Children could dress up as a

character from the story or you could create a ‘Prayer Space’ next to your computer – your

crib scene, the candle, some decorations, anything you want to make that space feel special.

Nativity Escape Room – download any time

A gift from St Peter’s Church: Like most of God’s unfolding story, the humble birth of our Lord

was a big mystery to almost everyone at the time. We invite children to go back to the time

of Jesus to solve the mysteries of His birth by decoding the facts… so they can SEE THE

LIGHT! Download the instructions here. Enjoy!
