Thurlaston Village Fete on Saturday 7 July will be celebrating Warwickshire's wildlife alongside all the usual fun and festivities.
The theme of the fete was inspired by a regular visitor to gardens in the village, a white squirrel known as Snowy! Villagers will be making a variety of scarecrows to set the scene and the fete will take place from 2pm to 4pm, with free entry and attractions for all ages.
Stalls will include produce and plants, gifts and toys, bric-a-brac, books and bottles, plus a blue and white stall run by Thurlaston Ladies' Club and pocket money games for children. There will also be hot dogs, burgers and ice creams, strawberries and Pimms at the church, tea and tasty cakes in the village hall, and Leamington Spa Ukulele Band.
Fete organiser Sylvia Jacques said: ‘As ever we have booked the sunshine and we're looking forward to giving a warm welcome to visitors at our traditional English fete!’
