Parish of Dunchurch with Thurlaston

"Worshipping God, sharing the love of Jesus and serving our community"

This page has been set up to list various events and activities which will be of interest to families. Much  of the information is also mentioned elsewhere, but this page should be helpful in bringing it all together in one place.

Please note that Margaret Littlejohn (01788 522462) is the Safeguarding Officer for the parish.

For all the Family at St. Peter’s

Also a quick reminder about the more regular family-friendly things on the calendar:

First Sunday of the month at 10.30 am  at St Peter's All Age Family Worship, which is an informal service lasting about an hour and followed by refreshments

Second, Third  and fourth Sundays (Holy Communion) at 10.30 am at St Peter's include Junior Church where children can take part in supervised activities in the common room while their parents or carers join in the service. We now offer "Hope Gang" for young people of about 10 and older which is held during the service on the 4th Sunday and in the ringing chamber. We are happy for children of this age to take communion before confirmation provided their parents approve and they receive instruction from a minister.

And finally …… for children in school years 4, 5 and 6, there are still a few places available at Rock Solid Club on Tuesdays, 3.30 -4.30pm, at Dunchurch Junior School (you don’t need to attend the school as a pupil to go) – more information from Simon at ‘Rugby Youth For Christ’ office 01788 567475

You’re always welcome at St Peter’s, and we look forward to seeing you soon,

governors and volunteers.

Assemblies are taken regularly, and occasionally school groups visit St. Peter’s to learn about the church or to hold carol services.

When a child is born …..
