We provide a Junior Church group on the second, third  and fourth Sundays (Holy Communion) at 10.30am at St Peter's where children can take part in supervised activities in the common room while their parents or carers join in the service.Children of all ages are welcome.

The Parish Council has agreed that baptised children may receive communion after due preparation. Rev'd Pat asks that parents who wish their children to be admitted to communion please either phone her on 01788 461 987 or speak to her after Sunday service. Alternatively you can email Pat at revptownshend@gmail.com.

For children in school years 4, 5 and 6, there are a few places available at Rock Solid Club on Tuesdays, 3.30-4.30pm, at Dunchurch Junior School (you don’t need to attend the school as a pupil to attend) – more information from Simon at ‘Rugby Youth For Christ’ office 01788 567475.

Local schools

St. Peter’s church actively supports our local schools, not only by prayer but also by providing governors and volunteers. Assemblies are taken regularly, and occasionally school groups visit St. Peter’s to learn about the church or to hold carol services.

When a child is born...

Thanksgiving for the birth of a child and their subsequent Baptism is usually held on a Sunday afternoon. It may be held during Morning Worship if the family is part of the St Peter's family.

Enquiries are welcomed after Morning Worship on any Sunday afternoon or, if involving only a small number of guests, during the morning service. Enquiries should be addressed to Rev Patricia Townshend on 01788 461987 or by email: revptownshend@gmail.com.

The Safeguarding Officer for the parish is Margaret Littlejohn (01788 522462).
