About Me
I am linked to St Peters through my wife, who is a regular attender. I do not attend St Peters regularly as I am a Reader in the Draycote group with commitments there. I do, however, try to get along to St Peters occasionally to support my wife and to contribute to the musical life of the church. I am also a church organist, Lay Chair of Rugby Deanery, on Diocesan Synod and a member of Bishop's Council. In my spare time I am a semi-professional musician - principally playing the piano accordion for English Country dancing. I occasionally get out on my bike for some fresh air and exercise, can sometimes be found in the kitchen where I enjoy making curries (and subsequently eating them, too), I have a propensity for reducing our wine lake and have had a life long love affair with steam engines. Oh, I nearly forget - I also work full time as a prison chaplain which is an amazing ministry. I have enjoyed most of my working life it is only in this role, however, that I have begun to understand the nature of being fulfilled at work - I am truly blessed!
